Wieder habe ich einen Blick in meine alte LP-Sammlung geworfen und dabei einige Zappa<\/a>-Platten hervorgekramt. Eines meiner Lieblingsscheiben ist dabei Zappas \u201eOne Size Fits All\u201c<\/a> mit den Mothers Of Invention, die im Juni 1975 auf den Markt kam und mit Frank Zappa<\/a> (guitar, lead vocals), George Duke (keyboards, synthesizer, lead vocals), Napoleon Murphy Brock (flute, tenor saxophone, vocals), Chester Thompson (drums), Tom Fowler (bass), Ruth Underwood (vibes, marimba, percussion) und Bloodshot Rollin‘ Red (harmonica) eingespielt wurde. Die Scheibe ist textlich wie musikalisch \u00e4u\u00dferst obskur. Eben Zappa. Hier l\u00e4sst Zappa seine collagehafte Kompositionstechnik h\u00f6ren mit einer rhythmischen Vielfalt, die Stil-Anleihen aus den Bereichen der E- und U-Musik holt. In den Texten findet man Zappas ausgepr\u00e4gtes Faible f\u00fcr Dadaismus und das Absurdes.<\/p>\n

Ein in dieser Hinsicht bemerkenswertes St\u00fcck ist das letzte Lied auf diesem Album: Sofa No. 2, in dem Zappa auch Text auf Deutsch singt. In einem Live-Auftritt 1978 im Circus Krone in M\u00fcnchen entschuldigt sich Zappa f\u00fcr seine beschissene Aussprache und f\u00fcr die schr\u00e4ge \u00dcbersetzung.<\/p>\n
